The designation of a Data Protection Officer is not mandatory according to Article 37 of the GDPR.

2. Personal data we process

We only process the data you provide to us voluntarily:

• Identification and contact details: email address.
• Content of your inquiry: the information you include in the project description field.
• Browsing data: IP address, browser type, device, and visited pages, obtained through technical cookies in accordance with the Cookie Policy.

No special category data (health, ideology, religion, union affiliation, or sexual orientation) is collected. Please do not include this type of information in the form.

3. Purpose of processing

• To address, manage, and respond to inquiries, requests for information, or collaboration proposals you send us.
• To maintain necessary contact during the evaluation of a potential project.
• To ensure the proper functioning and security of the website.

No profiles are created, nor are automated decisions made with your data. They will not be used for sending commercial communications without your express and independent consent.

4. Legal basis

• Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), granted by checking the acceptance box on the form.
• Application of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), when your inquiry is directed toward the potential contracting of our services.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing prior to your withdrawal.

5. Retention period

Your data will be retained for one (1) year from the last communication, unless:

• The inquiry leads to a business relationship, in which case it will be retained as long as that relationship lasts and, subsequently, for the legally required periods to address tax, accounting, and commercial responsibilities.
• You may request its deletion beforehand.

Browsing data will be retained for the period indicated for each cookie in the Cookie Policy.

6. Recipients

Your data may be communicated to the following service providers, who act as data processors and with whom the corresponding contracts have been signed in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR:

• Odoo S.A. — website hosting and management.
• Google Ireland Limited — corporate email services (Google Workspace).

Data will not be transferred to any other third party, except as required by law.

7. International transfers

Google services may involve, in certain cases, data transfers to the United States. These transfers are carried out under the safeguards provided in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular through the provider's adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the signing of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Rights of the data subject

We also inform you of your right to file a complaint with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (6 Jorge Juan Street, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es) if you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with current regulations.

FOOD IDEA LAB has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR, including the encryption of communications via HTTPS protocol and access control to information.

10. Modifications

FOOD IDEA LAB reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative, jurisprudential updates or changes in the provision of its services. Periodic review is recommended.
